It would be great if a lady driver were to make it big in F-1, in spite of Jenson Button's thoughts on the matter, but none have so far. Amati was also a bit out of depth racing at this level, so it was not surprising that she never qualified the Brabham BT60 in her 3 attempts in 1992. At least she had the excuse that the car was bad and even future champion Damon Hill fail to extract any speed from it.
