SOON A FULL F-1 BIOGRAPHY OF: BEAUMAN, DON Starts:1 Points: 0 Wins:0 Poles:0 Fastest Laps:0 Born 7/26/1928Deceased 7/9/1955, Rathnew, Ireland Beauman was an enthusiastic 500cc F-3 driver in the U.K., who raced a single time in Formula 1, at the British Grand prix of 1954. He did well, with a down on power 2.0 Connaught-Alta to qualify 17th and finish 11th. He soldiered on, and was even called to be one of Jaguar's works drivers in the fateful 1955 Le Mans. However, Don did not survive much longer, crashing his Connaught in a local event in Ireland, and dying from the injuries. |
