GUERRERO, ROBERTO MONTOYA, JUAN PABLO
Colombia has not been a hotbed of motor racing activity, in spite of Montoya's recent prominence. Although Juan Pablo was highly rated by some as a future world champion, this has not resulted in great expansion of racing in that country. Internationally, a couple of Formula 2 races were held in the country in 1971, one of which was won by Jo Siffert, driving his own entered Chevron. The 6 Hours of Bogota is the country's major race, which has attracted some prominent racers in the past. |
