New Zealander McRae was one of the F-5000 exponents of the 70’s, having won the Tasman Cup 3 times, in  addition to the 1972 USA Championship and races in the Continent.  His F-1 racing, however, was limited to a single start in the ill fated British GP of 1973, driving the laughable Iso Marlboros. Graham qualified next to last in a large field, and ended up retiring in the first lap. He continued in the 5 liters, building his own F5000 cars, including a revised Can Am version of it.
