Wunderink was a Dutch driver who did not achieve much distinction in F-5000. However, as the Ensign outfit obtained sponsorship from the Dutch company HB Bewaking Alarmsystems for 1975, Wunderink was one of the Dutch drivers called to drive the cars, the other being the much more accomplished Gijs Van Lennep. Not surprisingly Roelof qualified mostly in the last quarter of the field, starting three times and failing to qualify as many times. He did not finish a single race, and by the end of 1975 stepped out of racing altogether.
